FABRIC FIBER COMPOSITION
INTERFACING
Interfacings are classified as either fusible or sew-in. Fusible interfacings are ironed onto and become one with the fabric, making it easier to handle during the sewing process. It is important to choose a fusible interfacing that is compatible with the fabric and appropriate for the applicationâotherwise unsightly bubbles may appear on the right side of the item. Be sure to follow the manufacturerâs instructions regarding iron temperature and pressing time.
